As many of you probably are aware, both of the Georgia races for seats in the U.S. Senate are headed to a January 5 run-off election. Temple Jeremiah’s affiliate the Religious Action Center (RAC) is again organizing a postcard campaign to contact eligible voters in Georgia to help get out the vote.

We can be part of this effort, but our response is very time-sensitive. We must respond to them with requests for postcard kits by Sunday, November 15th at 12:00 p.m. If you would like to participate, click here to request your postcard kits. Once you fill out the form, RAC will then send the kits directly to you. Please remember to answer “yes” to the question “Are you a member of a Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) congregation?”

The kits will be mailed the week of November 16th and all postcards must be written, stamped, and mailed not later than Monday, December 7th.

If you decide to join this effort, please contact Nancy Eisenberg and let her know how many postcard kits you request. Similarly, please direct all your questions to Nancy.

We had tremendous success with our postcarding efforts this summer. We made a difference! There is still work to be done. We have momentum, let’s not stop now!
