Temple Jeremiah established Circles of Giving as a way for congregants to help support the Temple and its operations, above and beyond their dues. We are tremendously grateful to all who participate. Circles of Giving members are listed in the Covenant and receive additional recognition throughout the year.

The Circles of Giving program levels are:

CHAI CIRCLE: $720-$1,799
TZEDEK CIRCLE: $1,800-$3,599
SIMCHA CIRCLE: $3,600+

Planned Giving: Leaving a Jewish Legacy
Planned Giving provides a unique opportunity to support Temple Jeremiah’s mission. Every gift — large or small — makes a significant contribution to the Temple, our community and Tikkun Olam. You can participate in the Create a Jewish Legacy program, which is designed to train and support Chicago’s Jewish day schools, agencies and synagogues in the area of legacy giving. The program — a partnership between the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the Crown Family — helps ensure the sustainability of our Jewish community for years to come. This beautiful wall commemorates those who touched our lives but are no longer with us.A leaf on our Wall of Life is a meaningful way to share your happy occasion with the Temple community in a lasting way. It permanently marks a celebration such as a birth, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Confirmation, special birthday, wedding or anniversary.

You may commemorate a special event such as an anniversary or Bar/Bat Mitzvah, or honor the memory of a loved one by placing your name in our Siddur, Mishkan Tefilah, or The Torah: A Modern Commentary.
