Update: The Building Tomorrow Together Campaign closed at the end of 2021. Our members enthusiastically supported this critical effort and contributed over $4 million dollars to sustain the future of our congregation. While donations are no longer being accepted for the campaign, we will continue to honor our donors and share photos and videos from our community celebration on this webpage.
On November 18, 2022, we gathered to celebrate our campaign donors, leaders, and our community. At this celebration, we revealed our very special donor wall. This creative and symbolic piece incorporates artwork from the Pinot Igul gallery in Israel which showcases the works of artists with disabilities. To learn more about the symbolism contained in this, please click here and look for Leslie Landman’s article, Aesthetics, Symbolism, and Connection, on page 11.

Support Our Building Tomorrow Together Capital Campaign
We each have our own reasons for joining Temple Jeremiah, but what keeps us here is the feeling of connection – being genuinely valued by others for who we are, enjoying the freedom to embrace our Judaism in our own way, instilling our Jewish values and traditions in our children, and sharing life-changing moments with a caring community.

Current and Future Building Needs
We need to plan for the long-term sustainability of our building – the physical expression of our traditions and emotional anchor for our temple experience.
For the last several years, despite having our Building Fund, the Temple has experienced an annual shortfall of $50,000 to address facility expenses. As our building continues to age, this shortfall will only increase. This deficit has been covered by repeatedly allocating funds from the general operating budget, but this is not a sustainable long-term solution. In addition, we also must build a reserve to cover future capital expenses including new roofs and heating and air conditioning units and provide a safety net for emergencies.
Our building and grounds need significant improvements to continue to be an up-to-date, comfortable, inclusive and vibrant space for our community. To learn more, read our multi-year capital needs plan.

L’dor V’dor: From Generation to Generation
Just as those who came before us generously gave to create our remarkable temple and our beautiful building, we must stand together to support Temple Jeremiah’s capital and fiscal needs for now and years to come.
Funds raised during our community campaign will grow our Building Endowment for the future building and grounds’ needs.
Temple Jeremiah needs our help now in order to continue to thrive.
