The U.S. Postal Service is an essential part of our day to day lives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, USPS has been assisted for millions of people who rely on it to communicate, receive paychecks or unemployment insurance, get prescription medication, vote, and more.
However, recently, the delivering capabilities of the USPS have been diminished. The Delivering for America Act (H.R. 8015) would maintain delivery standards by prohibiting USPS from implementing any changes to the operations or level of service until the COVID-19 pandemic has ended.
As the Delivering for America Act (H.R. 8015) heads to the senate, we encourage you to contact your senator to encourage them to vote however you see fit on this act.
