Where is this event taking place?
You will drive your car through the Temple Jeremiah parking lots, entering in the South Lot, going behind the building, and exiting out of the North Lot. Our friendly police officer friends and temple staff will be present to help direct you!

Will I be going inside the temple building or exiting my car?
You can just stay in your car and wave to all of us. We will have giveaways that we can bring straight to your car, and we are accepting donations for Fitting Futures and Family Promise, which we can take from you or you can exit your car to drop off. We can also help deliver your taco order to your car for you.

Where am I suppose to eat my tacos?
You’re welcome to pick up your tacos and take them home to eat, or eat in your car. We are going to follow physical distancing protocols and will not have tables and chairs set up for eating. If you don’t feel comfortable eating in your car and would like to bring a lawn chair to put next to your car in order to enjoy your lunch that way, that’s absolutely fine.

Is the event from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.?
You are welcome to drive through any time between 11:00 and 1:00. It is not a two hour event, but rather a two hour window during which you are welcome to come.

Is Temple Jeremiah providing lunch?
Please click here to purchase your taco truck order, while we are not providing lunch we did pre-arrange the code “Jeremiah” to give you $5 off your order.

Do I have to pre-order my lunch?
While there will be an opportunity to order lunch at the event, we encourage everyone to pre-order using this link. This will ensure that the truck staff can prepare your lunch in a timely manner and decrease mingling together waiting for food. Remember to use the code “Jeremiah” to give you $5 off your order. After going to the truck link, just select the time you would like to pick up your order and then it will take you to the full menu.

Do I have to wear a mask?
Yes. We are following CDC protocols which ask everyone to wear a mask. If you don’t have one, we will have plenty of masks on hand when you arrive.

I’m a hugger, can I hug you when I see you?
We have missed you so much as well. Unfortunately, we are asking everyone to maintain six feet of physical distance. Please wave and give distant high fives!

What donations are you collecting?
Fitting Futures is collecting business clothes in good condition. This year the collection is accepting both women’s and men’s clothing. Click here for more information. Family Promise is collecting donations for the families we would usually host during this week. Click here for more information and a list of the requested items.

I ordered a kit from Manny’s, how do I pick it up?
Great! We will have your kit(s) ready to go for you. There will be a marked table for collection, though the kits will be refrigerated the whole time. Just tell us the name under the kit and we’ll hand it to you.

Anything else I should know?
We will have some prizes for the most decorated cars! While we wish we could physically be together all summer, we hope this drive through event will give us just a taste of coming together as a Temple Jeremiah community. We can’t wait to feel the joy with all of you.
