Dear families,

Oh, are we all excited to see the children! It’s been a long summer and we are ready to begin. On Sunday, September 13, we invite you to come as a family to Temple Jeremiah to meet your children’s J-Quest Sunday and Hebrew teachers in our South Parking Lot!

With masks on and proper social distancing, our students will be directed to their teachers’ locations, signs held high! There will be time to make the connection, pick up a special goodie bag, hear familiar music in the air, and begin a Feel-Good school year.

You’ll be entering the NORTH LOT, park your car, and then walk to the South Lot where teachers and madrichim (teacher teen assistants) will be waiting with smiles to see the kids. We’ve arranged a schedule so that we are able to keep the number of children to a reasonable size. Please do not forget your masks. You are invited to stay for a 30 minute visit, and then we’ll make room for our next guests.

Last names A to L: please arrive between 9:00 – 9:15 a.m.

Last names M to R: please arrive between 10:00 – 10:15 a.m.

Last names S to Z: please arrive between 11:00 – 11:15 a.m.

We are counting on good weather (praying like crazy.) If it rains on Sept. 13th, the teachers will be under the protective overhang in the South Lot. Just circle around at your assigned time, and with umbrellas in hand, we’ll deliver the goodie bags to your car. Now that’s what we call excellent service!

I am always here if you have any questions. Please don’t hesitate to call me at 847.383.7413 or send an email.

Shanah Tovah,

Anne
