It is hard to believe Dr. Anne Lidsky is retiring after 40 years at Temple Jeremiah! Her nurturing spirit, boundless energy, and love for Judaism have touched and inspired all of us, our children, and our grandchildren, in countless ways over the years. Anne has put Temple Jeremiah’s school on the map as a model for excellence and a place of inclusion, warmth, and kindness.

Kabbalat Shabbat Worship
On Friday, June 11th at 6:30 p.m. we will hold a Kabbalat Shabbat Service over Zoom honoring Dr. Anne Lidsky. This promises to be a memorable Shabbat service with beautiful music, heartfelt prayer, and poignant words honoring Dr. Lidsky, our very own Educator Extraordinaire.
To make this Shabbat even sweeter, complimentary Oneg Shabbat Grab & Go bags will be available for curbside pick-up at Temple Jeremiah during the week before the service. Simply register in advance for this special worship to receive a bag.

Anne’s Tribute Video
Temple Jeremiah is creating a tribute video for Anne in honor of her retirement, and we would love for you to be a part of it.
To get involved, simply click here or the button below and you’ll be directed to Anne’s Tribute.Co page. From there, the website will guide you on how to shoot and create a message for the video. We ask that all messages be no more than 30 seconds. All are welcome to contribute video messages, and we invite you to pass this link and information on to anyone you know who has also been touched by the Anne Lidsky magic!
All videos must be submitted by Friday, June 4th at 5:00 p.m.
Dessert Reception
On Saturday, June 12th at 7:45 p.m. we will hold an elegant dessert reception for Anne in a tent directly outside of the temple. In-person space is limited, but all are welcome to attend via Zoom.
The event will begin with Havdalah, followed by desserts, entertainment, and toasts to honor Anne’s retirement. While in-person space is limited at this event, all congregants are welcome to attend via Zoom.
