JeTY is Jeremiah's Temple Youth Group for kids in grades 9-12. With several programs a month, this is a very active youth group! In addition to great social activities, like going to a comedy club or seeing a musical, JeTY is a place for learning, worshipping, and making a difference. We look forward every school year to a full calendar of fun, study, and social action!
Looking to make new friends or hang out with old friends? Looking for something different to do than the activities provided at your school? Want to have ridiculous fun? Then JeTY is for you!

Say What’s Your Name? Say N-F-T-Y! JeTY is a branch of the Reform movement’s high school youth group, North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY). NFTY is a movement that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-powered engagement. Together, NFTY pursues tikkun olam, personal growth, youth empowerment, and deep connections, all of which are rooted in Reform Judaism. JeTY is specifically part of NFTY’s Chicago Area Region (NFTY-CAR), which comprises the city of Chicago, the surrounding urban and suburban areas, and northwestern Indiana. To learn more about NFTY and check out upcoming events go to www.chicago.nfty.org.
Some of our past JeTY events have included:
- Beit Café
- “Better than Study Hall”
- Extreme Makeover: Youth Lounge Edition
- JeTY Shabbat Service and Dinner
- JeTY Top Chef
- and much, much more!
